Another attempt to alter history. It will likely succeed. It seems to me, especially when considering the mind set of the day, the reference to coloreds as Negro was a sign of respect. As opposed to the other word which was prevalent.
After the PC folks get rid of names like this they will go after Blue Ball and Intercourse, PA.
Or as we become more global with our political correct alterations of history...The Japanese will have us remove "The Day Of Infamy" from our history books....Or the Germans will have us remove the Holocaust.
