i just bought this 1984 f-250 w/5.8L 351w and need some help guys!!

THIS TRUCK I JUST BOUGHT IS A BEAUTY, IT HAS ONLY 60,000 ON IT AND HAS ALL THE ORGINAL TAGS FROM FORD-MY QUESTIONS ARE ABOUT THE CARB!--I CAN FIND NO NUMBERS ON IT AT ALL!!!(WHERE ARE THE ADJUSTMENTS FOR THE CHOKE,FAST AND CURB AND SO ON!!!--SHE HAS NO RUST AT ALL ON HER AND AS A PREVIOUS AND PRESENT FORD TRUCK OWNER I WILL NEVER GIVE HER UP ONLY FIX HER UP!!!I WOULD ALSO WOULD LIKE SOME INFO FROM YOU GUYS ON HER VIN#(2FTHF25G3ECA69011)--I WOULD ALSO LIKE SOME MEMBERS TO EMAIL ME WITH YOUR SCREEN NAME,SO I CAN CHECK OUT YOUR PICS!!! MY BABY HAS A MANUAL TRANNIE,AND FOR NOW..2WD, AND THE CARB IS A 2BBL!!! ANY HELP OR INFO ON MY 1984 F250 WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED GUYS--THANKS A BUNCH FOR YOUR TIME AND FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN READING IN THESE FORUMS I AM IN THE RIGHT PLACE FOR ANYTHING THAT CONCERNS FORD TRUCKS

i just bought this 1984 f-250 w/5.8L 351w and need some help guys!!

i got the same year on the 23rd. it has some rust, drivers floor pan is rusted through but will be fixed. mine has a 351 with auto, two wheel drive and helper springs. It has 113000 miles, was owned by a mechanic for ford(i think), who was a volunteer firefighter, later owned for a month by a guy that his bronco was stolen then i bought it

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-Mar-02 AT 10:16 PM (EST)]On my 84 302 2v the idle mixture adjustment screws are under the float bowl, they are bright brass color and if you wanna richen it you turn it clockwise. There should be a dashpot for adjustin the idle speed. Its got a small (5/16") screw that if you turn it clockwise it idles down. I reckon the choke adjustment should be on the choke tower at the choke pulloff linkage right next to the choke thermostat. I aint too familiar with the fast idle adjustment, its got some sort of cam thing that deals with the choke position. I rebuilt the ol motorcraft 2150 2 barrel and had to deal with this stuff.

Anyone ever adjust the "choke pulloff" on a Holley?
