Okay.. I dont know what happened, I dont know when it happened, but apparently spring is here. Wow is nice out there this morning..Didnt even have a coat on this morning.

yup same here, bringing in the beast this morning, cross fingers its just U joints !! Not the Wheelbearing

 

Wheel bearings are a breeze.. just costly..

Vibrations for me in the front end for me has been Wheelbearings, front right U joint..I wish you luck..

Yep, Not His I have the spring fever now! It's really nice outside! Screw the arm brace I'm working on the truck this weekend. Yeah, here's hoping it's a joint or wheel weight or something on your truck. I don't even want to know what the labor charge on a bearing would be.

The Dealer ship said upper and lower Ball joints $ 894 !!!!!! Labor was $ 490 alone !!!
So I talked to Hubby which has talked to the Shop guy where he works ( the Shop has 30+ F 250's so thats all he works on) They both said that dont sounds right.

So I brought it to the Local guy and he said U joint in the rear for sure and for all 3 and some thing in-between which cost 69 all together $ 275 includes Labor.
I guess It wasn't the front who made the Humm I thought it did, but after listening more careful it sounds like its coming from the mid- end part of the Truck.

Either way getting it done Monday its cheaper then $ 894 and maybe that will do it.
This is not the first Complaint this Place gotten either on fixing things that dont need to be fixed.

Anyway we will see, if the U joints dont fix the Problem I can still get the Ball joint done. Might just do ONE at the time. Maybe hire me someone to do it here at the House.

SO I am gonna steal my Boy's Intrepid and run around till she is fixed. lol

it's cause the bearing packs themselves are like 200 each.
They are a whole unit. bigger tires and lifts kill them quick.

 

Yes I know the Price of them, I called around. No problem with them....

Its the labor charge thats getting me and if I dont need it why change it ?
