[updated:LAST EDITED ON 22-Dec-02 AT 06:37 PM (EST)]Since I'm putting another engine and transmission in the truck, it's probably a good idea to go ahead and put a new cat on Where can I get a whole replacement y pipe section with the catalytic converter? I'd rather go this route than to take it to the exhasut shop to get a new converter put on the stock y pipe. I am open to any suggestions to this, so fire away BTW, it's a 1995 F150 with a 302 .

info you, i used a 91 f250 header pipe assembly and 2 cats side by side on my 81 bronco to get a true duel exhaust. the only problem with the bronco, there's no room for a muffler after the cats. but on a pickup that should not be a problem...

 

Dynomax makes a high flow cat and y-pipe for Ford trucks (p/n 15742, but that is for '87 - '90, don't know if it will work for after '90; that replaces both cats, and I think is the whole y-pipe assembly). Thanks for the replies. I looked into the Dynomax part and it does indeed, from what I have been told, replace the whole y pipe section and will fit the 95 . A local auto parts place says they can get it and sell for $244. I notice that Summitt says $169, but it says it must be order and is backordered on top of that :-(

Update: A local car and truck accessory place has ordered the Dynomax part for me, it should be here Wednesday, so we will see if it is the whole Y-pipe section. They sold it to me for $209.
