That they are. My first truck I put in a Volkswagen cd player and 3 extra Volkswagen cigarette lighters with those things. Not for lighting cigarettes, but to have clean looking powerpoints, rather than those cheap looking Canadian Tire splitters. (They lit up green to guide the user in the dark.)

I used to drive 2 buddies around, we usually had more than one type of gadget plugged in.

Some other VW parts I had in my 77 F100: Passat cup holders.

Two things I hate. Wires hanging all over the place and drilling holes.

Which one? The aux input? Should be.

Or did you mean the VW parts in my F100? Those were cool too.

Well, they have to look new at one time in their life. I forgot what mine looks like. One of my sons has it.

The VW parts.. My Ford could use another AUX power port or two.

Well, you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Drill holes or hang wires.

I don't have a aux input in the front. All my inputs are in the rear. I wired one of those lighter/powerpoint plugs in behind the dash for my sirius. I have the connection for my 5th wheel backup camera wired into it as well. My truck has two powerpoint thingies and neither has anything in it.

I need a cup holder for my 75 maybe I should look into
VW parts.

I don't know how many used vehicles I have bought that had extra holes drilled in the firewall for what ever. Now a days most vehicles will have dead ended wires going through the firewall.

Oh I thought of one other thing that drives me crazy. People that install after market stereos and chop wires instead of buying the correct plug.

Putting one in your 06 might take some figuring. On a 77, it's just a steel dash, real easy.

I really don't know. He was going to bring it back a while ago along with my compound miter saw.
