I've got at least 6 spare sets of Ford dually wheels and tires, tons of F100 wheels and tires. When I sold out my shop I kept all the tires and wheels, new parts, etc..............

This week I'll start building the new tire rack in the container. Overhead down one side (40') and I don't think I can put them all there.......


I just ordered 4) 12.50X16.5X37" Hummer tires for the Highboy/Panel project. It also helps that my SIL scraps for a living and sends me all the good set's of tires he gets. He has to pay a $5/tire charge to get rid of them, but since we have the regonal landfill here no county resident has to pay to dispose ANYTHING. So he brings me pickup loads of scrap tires and I dump them for the sets of good ones..............

 

Do you have to deal with the rims too, or are they just tires?

The whole thing sounds like a very sweet deal for both of you, and could provide just one more (albeit small) revenue stream for you.

I might need to talk to you about a set of humvee tires at the GTG Don... I'd love to get a set.

 

He takes the tires off the rim, and scraps the rims then just sends over the tires. Works out good for both of us!







Not that I want to get rid of right now..............

I've had a set of 10" wide 16.5 aluminum slotted mags that I want to use on my Highboy/53 Panel project. Should look really good with 37" tires!

I ordered the Goodyear 37 X 12.50 X 16.5's Well worth a hundered bucks apiece.............

its storming here, tonight we had rain and hail. thunder and lightning.

It's just sprinkles here.

I just got the leaks in the cooling system fixed (@#$!! thermostat housing, temp sender). I was doing a flush and was getting pressure on the system for the first time in months... then the water pump seal goes out!

Now I've got to do a water pump swap tomorrow and I hope it isn't in the rain.

 

that sucks. i hate when that happens.

I'm just glad there wasn't $55 with of brand new antifreeze and coolant additive in the system when it popped.

I was walking back with the jugs of antifreeze when it went.
