I have 265/75R 16 on my truck and they don't rub. Thats about as wide as you can go without spacers.

I don't know how much wider you can go on the 17s.

For 17" rims bf goodrich has a new size out 255/80/17. About 1.75" taller but same width. Drawback is they only come in their KM2 mud terrain.

Hate to sound like ******* but what's issue with mud terrains? Rougher ride?

Actually from what I'm hearing most the "issues" are gone with the modern mud terrrains (issues being rougher ride and whinning noise at high speeds). I was little worried on how they would do in rain and ice, but another forum I asked and everyone says they run great. It does give your truck an aggressive look which some people might not like so over all it is just nice to have options. I'll probably go with these once my factory tires get a little more use out of them.

I got those tires about 20,000 miles ago and love them.

Is this what you want? If not, you can go into my gallery and look at more pics.

Got my new diesel power, but have to wait to next month to read their review on 19.5" tire upgrade! But given vision wheels is an advertiser, I'm not expecting many negative comments. KM2s look great, but after seeing that the BFG AT KO have a sever weather rating (which supposedly is even better then then the M&S rating) they really would be the ideal tire for me, but still want that 255/80 sizing.

Yeah id like to to the 19.5 rims but haven't seen any tires that I've liked. Not many options like you can get wit 16,17,22-24.5 sizes
