A black paint job with all the trim, wheels everything painted black. and usually also dark tinted windows. So no chrome or other bright work. It's a very evil/sinister looking ride.

Thanks. I have heard of BLACKED OUT vehicles but the murder threw me. I saw a 2010 Hemi Challeger that was all blacked out the other night. It was awesome looking.

I'm going blacked out with orange main body, I'll throw picks up once I get my new flat bed and paint job.

A select few 1982+ Fords were murdered out from factory. They're called XLS trim trucks.

Here's an example that I found online of either an '83 F150 XLS or a clone.

The XLS trucks were cool but hey were just blacked out trim. The vehicles I've seen that have been "murdered out" were completely blacked out, dark tinted wiondows, tinted lights, blacked out rims. Basically one big black mass!

You don't need a 4x4 to lift it. Or if you you want a 4x4 it's pretty easy to convert the 80-86 F100/150's to 4x4. It's basically a bolt in deal.

Back when I had mine I wanted to build it and use a 70 Boss 302 Mustang type of paint scheme. I did a crappy drawing of it. I think it would look pretty cool. I wanted to paint it Grabber blue with black 70 boss 302 style stripes. I wanted to slightly lower it. Tub the rear. Run some nice wide meats on some american racing Torque thrust D's with the centers painted to match the body. blacked out trim, tinted lights, windows. custom from spoiler, 69-70 Boss 429 hood scoop.

Here's a picture of my drawing.

The same basic build dump the stripes and just black out the whole thing would look really wicked.

The nice thing about the 80-86 flaresides is no matter what you do to them they look good.

murdered out is just a way to speed the taping process when it's time to paint.
