I love all these pics. Almost makes me cry looking at them. My first truck in high school was a yellow 71 F100 Sport Custom, 302 that I rebuild from the bones my cousin gave me to replace the one that blew up on Dad when he drove it. Three on the tree of course. The thing must have had 200,000 or 300,000 miles on it when Dad bought it, then the engine died and a couple years later when I turned 16 he said "If you can make it run you can have it" Of course he had as much fun rebuilding it as I did I drove it until I was 18 when the engine caught on fire and burned up everything under the hood and behind the dash. Never had the money to rebuild it but did rewire it with some old extension cords and speaker wires enough to keep using it around the farm lol. Dad finally sold it almost 10 years after that.

I never did find out what a Sport Custom was, still have the bedside badges for it, even thought about putting them on my 96 just for the memories. If I can dig up some photos I will scan them and post them, sounds like time for a trip home to look through all the old photos

I am going to post more pics as my truck has changed quite a bit since i got it in january , i did the body work primered it ,installed chrome mirror,installed carpet and a saddle blanket seat cover.

not going to paint it for awhile , i have to decide between the original pebble beige or going hot rod black . i got a 66 mustang vert that i am doing the final touches on . once that's done then i can get serious about painting the truck .

That is a gorgeous truck and the right side drive. Never seen a bumpside like that. Well ive never really looked before haha
