Suggest some brake pads suitable for towing

It's time to re-shoe the brakes in the rear of my '74, and was wondering what kind of considerations I should take when choosing pads/shoes for a truck used for towing?

Obviously, this truck is not a race car, so using pads that might be good on a track (like carbon metallic) does not necessarily translate to what's good for the rigors of towing. Or maybe they are...

Your opinions?

Personnaly I would go with metallic pads. They are tougher and won't fade as quicly as semi-metallic. In a towing application, brake fade is paramount, noise level secondary.

Do they make metallic brake shoes?
