Wow $1200 to $1400 for a plastic tank? is that good Rick? Just seems like alot.

 

I got my 51 gallon tank from Titan during their pre-production sale days. I actually ordered it direct from them on the last day of the promo. It was a little over $900 when all was said and done and the rebate check cashed. I have admitted here before that I choked a little on the price. I have to say that now having owned it for a few months, I am very pleased with the product. The only thing I disliked about my truck was the small tank. It would require a fill every 250 miles while pulling the fifth wheel. It puts you at the mercy of the fuel stops available around that distance. On the last work trip I took in November, I saved over $100 in just a little over 2 weeks just in fuel costs. I stumbled across a station that was 30 cents lower than anyone else. Expensive, yes. Worth it, only you can answer that one. My decision is yes.

I talked to the owner of Titan last month and he told near the end of February before they start shipping. He also told me there would be a similar discount/rebate that was offered last year on the SWB.

I think I will get the tank /tool box combo that sit's in the front of the box,in front of the fiver, I find I don't use that space anyway.
