Brake line lenth. Does it matter?

Details : 95 F 250 4 wd 5.8/E40D

I have a hanging up issue with all new calipers / rotors. Master is newer but not brand new. So Im going after the rubber first to trouble shoot it.

I know just by looking at the steel lines going to them, they are not going to make it through removal. They have been replaced by the PO/hacker. They are not bent well (no kinks) and are not stock length.

I need to know if the length off the master to the first rubber line and block matter then of course the length from right front to left side as well. Or if they matter as a pair keeping them equal length or anything like that.

Im thinking they are just daisy chained together, it does not matter and I can make custom fit lines w/o all the extra coils and such.

True or false. Stock length #'s if needed as these are hacked up as is and I wont measure whats there for reference.

Thanks in advance !

The length doesn`t matter but you need the coils in the lines from the master cyl to avoid them cracking as the body moves relative to the frame.

Thank you for the compliment but undeserved. It was Andym who originally gave the answer to that puzzle.
