Good morning my good friends! Looks like we're getting a winter weather advisory for a little snow today and tomorrow.....goody.

Well, it's been a long nightshift and I'm hittin' the rack! You all take care and have a great day today!

Good morning Scott and everyone else stopping by today! Not much of a snowfall last night...ended up with about an inch.

Well, nightshift is over for two weeks now....time to hit the rack. Everybody have a great day!

 

Man John, I think thats all you do is sleep or hitting the rack! HAHA Oh speaking that....you are either west coaster or military, as not many call it the "rack" or atleast they raz me about saying it around here.

 

Yeah that's the world of 12 hour swingshift in police work. We work two weeks of dayshift, then two weeks of nightshift....7AM to 7PM and 7PM to 7AM. The rack thing was something I picked up from my uncle....he's a Korean war vet and a top-notch, squared away guy. And, that's what we called it in the academy years ago too. Some habits die hard.

 

Morning Virginians, coffee's almost gone. Maybe 1/4" of snow - enough to close school. John, didn't know you were into police work. Be safe. My son-in-law was with Clarke Co (Athens, GA) Sheriff dept. Sort of glad when he got out.

 

Got back from Norfolk last night. I had to drive down and fix the mixing valve on the daughters shower. Can't give the grandson a cold bath.

 

Kevin, that sounds like a road trip excuse, a good one. I guess that's what family and retirement are about.

 

Wake up time Virginians. Time to shovel snow and drive safely.

 

Personally i was Hopin' for a lil more snow than this lol but thats okay...

 

Hi HB not much down here in Stuart, maybe an inch. More coming next week??
