Thanks, I wasn't so sure the black steelies would look good but after they were on I liked it. As for the paint, it wasn't my idea, it was painted this way when I got it. I like it a lot and would like to repaint it the same or the original green but keep the design. The current paint isn't in the best condition.

Hi...new to the site. Washington member. Been lurking some in the past to glean information on Excursions and the 7.3 Powerstroke. Well after 16 years I'm parting with my truck, a 1994 Ford C350 Centurion loaded with most options. Currently has 118,600 miles on it. Been a great rig. Just loves gas too much.
Decided to upgrade to a 2002 Ford Excursion Limited, with a 7.3 Powerstroke with 126,070 miles on it. Two tone interior, with four captains.
Was going to buy a smaller crossover for trips since the wife is retiring which makes us both retired. Centurion was my hunting rig and did light duty pulling my 22' North River Commander. After seeing the milage one gets in a crossover such as a Cadillac SRX or Buick Enclave...22mph highway, I thought why not eliminate a vehicle and get an Excursion with a 7.3. They get 16-20+ depending highway and far more comfortable. Not that much difference, and I like big to travel in. Still take it hunting and pull my boat on the side.
May be able to actually get the X in the garage. For what it's worth in the world's largest SUV discussion....my Centurion is slightly larger.
So looking forward to learning and participating here.......

Currently still have it, but going to sell it. Mechanically...excellent. Would not hesitate to drive across country in it. Only flaw is a slight exhust manifold leak. Brand new tires, new brakes, battery a year old, new dual exhaust pipes. Recently...2011 had a couple sensors replaced in the tranny. Guy there asked when I had put a new tranny in...he could not believe it....looked as new. Only 118,700 miles on it.
Cosmetically, 16+ years of being outside has taken a toll. Clear coat coming off from top down. Rear window motor doesn't work, although I have a new motor and rear window rubber trim. Drivers door need hinge alignment. Have too slightly lift up when shutting. Interior still excellent except drivers seat....all leather, electric captains, most options for Centurions...roll top wood lower console, overhead wood console, radar, etc, etc. Some of the wood need new coating over finish.
Just needs some tender loving restoration.
Hate to part with it.....best truck I ever owned.
