Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
Say Don, are you going to have to do daily chlorine levels on potable water from the wells? A fellow I know has a small development fed by 3 wells. He had to go to some school in Salem and has to do daily logs on the chlorine content and then make adjustments to the chlorine pump if needed. Has to fill the chlorine tank about once a week. Then once a month some outside lab comes in and gets water samples that are tested for bacteria, arsnic, chlorine, cooties and who knows what else. All of this has to be reported to the state.

There are three "owners" that own this old radar site (Radar Holding LLC). All of the three own there own businesses and just don't have the time to devote to promoting the base. Two of them live out of state, and the third lives in Portland. They have tried hiring people to work around here, but without having someone to watch over them it hasn't worked out very well.............

Evening Jim. Yes, I have to do all the monitoring of the water system, and send the reports to the State. I have to go to Portland for 3 days to a school to learn all the requirements, but they will pay all my expense's to go there. Once I finish up the schooling I'll be state certified and can take over the systems.

I ran the water company here for a few years, 2 wells and 480 hook ups. All I needed to satisfy the state health people was a WD 1 certificate and a few hours a year of continuing education, licensing was kind of a pain because of the remoteness of our location. the classes and testing were 50 miles away.

Howdy Dave! I'm actually getting ready to hit the rack too. Early morning tomorrow and then back to the house to sleep for a bit before midnight shift tomorrow night.

Fine.............I guess my 10 - 6:30 shift puts me at odds with everyone else schedule.
Maybe I should hang up FTE and troll a toyota site with some witty insults?

If I didn't have to get up at 0530, I'd hang for a while tonight. Maybe I'll get in a late night post session on Monday night.

I would kill to be a fly on the wall
Evening guys, been a busy week here... lots of guys seem to be building corvettes right now and want JMR suspension under them. No complaints though... I been making control arm parts all week!

Hey Dave. Don't get too discouraged. There are a few of us left around here that can throw spears at ya. I was just off site for a bit reading an appeal and Supreme Court brief in a case I have a personal interest in.
