Thanks for the welcome.
I am in P-town and just picked up a 99 F350 PSD 6spd CC SWB 4x4 Dually.
The truck was orginally from Michigan, so it has some rust issues. It was also a conversion truck. The conversion company put in leather, cheap wood grain, and a bad tasting overhead console. The dome/map lights look like they are from a 1970s RV.
But I got to say, this truck has crazy power, very impressed.
I needed a tow rig and this fit the bill. But as with all used trucks, it needs some work.
So Far...
Rear Breaks and calipers.
Rear axle seal.
Rear antilock sensor.
Droped in two 1000cc batteries out of my diesel suburban. (burb is in need a complete rebuild... so yah.. doesent need the new batteries)
Replace battery cable ends (PO didnt maintain this truck well)
Punch List items to be done over the next month or so
Oil leak
Ball Joints (upper and lower)
Front Seals
Front breaks and rotors
Wish List (with in a year)
rebuilt the 6 spd and a short throw modification (if possible)
Rear spacers/ or different rims for the dually
2 to 3" lift (mainly to level it out)
Replace/upgrade interior items.
