i agree with you Julie, you talked to the administration, and they agreed you are who you are. end of story. there is no need for you to defend yourself trying to convince anyone you are not someone who is no longer welcome here.
as far as putting "FTE Broadcaster" on the ignore sender list, i don't see how it can be done as "FTE Broadcaster" is not a registered user name.
you can not block out a name that is not recognized by the software.
but then again, i am by no means a computer genius, so i may be wrong on this.

OK, I just checked a non-supporter's PM inbox that hasn't been used in more than 2 years and yes...
There were a whole 6 - yes I said SIX broadcasts from "FTE broadcaster" in there.
One for Bakfactory on 12-14-2010, and the rest are the following dates:
10-31-2010
3-24-2010
7-13-2009
12-08-2008
10-23-2008
Yes, SIX in the past two years. Actually, based on calendar dates, that's only FOUR in 2 years.
Basically, I fail to understand why anyone is bothered by this.

Honestly I couldn't care less if you are or aren't this other person. Didn't know there was a story and just thought it was strange.

Okay, now Ross, i'm not trying to cause any problems . But,you gave your opinion in post #9 ,a few others gave theirs and i gave mine in post # 37. Then you say it's "hardly worth 3 pages of discussion", you may be right. But you and i both gave our opinions,so it should go as long as everbody wants it too i guess. Aparently it bothers a lot of people or they would not keep responding to it. So now we both have made it a little longer with our extra post, it may never end. Please don't take this wrong, i'm not tying to start anything. You have a good day now and enjoy the sunshine there.
FTE is not my browser's homepage, believe it or not. No, I only got the one PM notice.
Isn't this still an Internet Brands website?

It's a matter of principle I guess.
I've had to pay once not to be subjected to the advertising bombardment. And now it's coming in via the "back door."
Plus it indicates that there is a willingness to do it on the part of the site managers. That willingness to "go there", to intrude on the private (private private private) mail, not the volume, is what's bothersome - for me anyway.
Question is will it stop at 6? Will it become a regular thing? Will FTE sell my PM address to venders to advertise?
Why can't it be posted on the forum page? Simple question.
I'm not trying to be argumentative, or start a debate. Hopefully answered your question.

You have an email that you need to respond to.

I consider it a PRIVILEGE to participate on this forum, and the various aspects of this site allows me more information I could ever hope for.
Now, I just logged in for the first time in 24 hours or so. I received two PM's for BAK. It took me a total of 1 second to delete them, without even looking at them. I find that hardly a PITA, and quite frankly, I EXPECT ads now and then. If it's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that nothing is free.
Oh, and since I just signed up for another 3 years, can I get a T-shirt this time?
