I have a 88 F150 I installed a 4in rough country lift along with 2 in coil spacers under the coil springs to make it sit level. The drop down bracket has 2 holes the top for the 4in and the bottom for the 6in. I figured with my 4in lift + 2in spacers I would be able the use the bottom hole.
I took my truck to the alignment shop and said I should drill a hole in between the top and bottom hole because either one (top or bottom) would throw the camber out more than they could fix.
Has anyone ever used the 4in lift with coil spacers and resolved their camber issues? or have any advice?

I have the exact same setup as you, 4 inch RC with 2 inch coil spring spacers on a I beam setup. Alignment shop moved the I beams to the 6" hole for stock suspension geometry. Last time I checked 4 + 2 = 6. They had no problems afterwards to align.

Yes thats exactly what spacer I have. The alignment shop also said that the bottom pumpkin on the front axle should have a slight angle to it. IMO mine does look a little off but I am not sure, I just dread the thought of puttin another hole in both of the brackets. I called RC and the spring for the 6" lift is supposedly 2 3/4'' taller. So maybe I should drill another hole 3/4-1 inch higher than the bottom?

 

I honestly wouldn't bother jeprodizing your drop down brackets. My I beams are completely parallel to the ground with absolutely no problems. If the alignment shop has problems getting it aligned you can always get theseAdjustable Alignment Bushings Pair, but you shouldn't need them.

 

I was going to get those. I'm already using the biggest bushing you can use with my coil spacers on stock springs. I didn't know how I was going to get it right when I finally get it lifted.

 

Im not sure but maybe mine being a 4wd makes it a little different? They said mine should look more like this. Where as mine is straight across

 

Rwd trucks are a little different.
