not trying to knock on the ltx's because they are a excellent tire. dont get me wrong. the LTX is primarily a street tire, while the KO's are an all terrain, thus having a more agressive tread. this is something to keep in mind. i have worked at the same tire shop for a little over two years now, but i have yet to see a set of LTX's last past 65k miles.

I'm sure most people don't get 80-90k miles like my Dad did, but those tires still last longer than most of the others. I would think from what I have seen that they would easily last 60-70k. Most tires I see barely make to to 40-50k and many of those do not perform as well either.

have not been able to get back here in awhile, but the 35's are off i now have 31's of les shwabs mud terrain sxt, i went with them because i like the tread pattern and my uncle has had them on his pickup for 40k and they look like they will go another 20k. i have not gotten the lift off yet because i have not found an honest enough shop to do it, the ones i have gone to have quoted me around 1000 dollars to get it removed witch is a little steep in my opinion. overall i'm very happy that i choose to remove the 35 helped my mileage out (gained 2 mpg average) and it handles better. thank you everybody for all the help.

It shouldn't cost that much to remove the lift. The question is though do you have all the stock parts to put back on?

I just mean that whatever has been changed you need the stock parts to put it back. If you just take is some where and tell them to take the lift off, who knows what parts they will put back on.

I would look at NPD, LMC, Bronco Graveyard etc for the correct bolts and other hardware and bushings if needed.
