Thanks for the warm welcome! I've been working on my Dad's old 79 F100 2x4 inline 6 off and on for years using the wisdom of FTE members to help me figure out how to keep it running (thank you FTE !!) The family has been encouraging me to do a full restoration on the truck, and I'm eager to get started once I figure out where all the stuff that's already in the garage is going to go.
This frame rot problem has me stumped though, because I'm not a welder, and not sure what it'll take to fix it.

Thanks for the warm welcome and all the suggestions on my F100 frame problem. I've been lurking on the forum for years, soaking up lots of great advice to keep the F100 running. I'll get some pics up of the truck - it's only got 90,000 original miles on it so it's just barely broken in (except for 30 years of rust).
