I am totaly convinced now that my truck likes the old style fuel filters better.I change them every oil change even though they could go way beyond 5000 miles ,anyways I have been alternating them and this last filter change was it. It runs much smoother with the old style filters,Anyone else notice this? Ohh and I ony use motorcraft or racor.

 

I change my fuel filters every 15,000 miles and there's no change in performance
