GTG in N. GA 12/11 or 12/18???

Well, I gotta pull my engine again and I figure any excuse to put meat over a fire and drink beer with friends is a good excuse... It sounds like a couple nearby FTE members might come by, so I figured we might as well call it a GTG!

Anyway, this week I've got to do GP's and a couple things to the X before going to BTS next week and the 4th we are going camping/rockcrawling over at Uwharrie one more time before they close for the season (Uwharrie Off). After that weekend, I'll start wrenching on F350.

So that leaves the 11th and the 18th for Sat GTG dates. Lets see if we can put something together! My boys are 7 & 10 and have plenty to show your kids around the farm if ya bring'em.

I have several things I wanna do to truck before I go back to work after New Years, so it'll be torn apart for a minute. Meanwhile, I'm sure we can handle some other projects if someone needs a hand with something!

Oh yeah - I'm in Blairsville, GA and Mom should give us a special rate on her cabins if anyone wants to make it a weekend trip!! (tell wifey about THAT )
2's Company Farm Creek Cabins - Blairsville, Georgia

Lets PARTY!

Man, I would be there if I could! I have to work on the 11th and we're leaving for Florida on the 17th. Have a good time and good luck wrenching on the truck!

I would love to come. I'll have to check with the wife, and see what is on the calendar. We go camping at near there, at Coopers Creek every year.

Florida? In general I agree with you, but in this case we are going to one of my favorite places - Ft. Wilderness at Disney World!

What can I say, I love the Mouse (brings out the kid in me) and Ft Wilderness is the nicest RV Campground I have ever been to.

I know!

I spent 20yrs living just over an hour from the mouse. We had 'off season' passes and spent many weekends at Ft. Wilderness. It was fun being able to go to the park(s) and just do what we wanted - since we knew every square inch of them by heart. As a teenager, it was all about the girls... My brother and I always hooked up with some cuties at camp and 'showed them the parks'.

This is about the best time of year to be there too! Cool enough to enjoy it! Last time I was there it was July (went to see a show) and there were parents behaving poorly EVERYWHERE. "You WILL have fun, do you kids know how much we spent to bring you here!!" As the sweat pours off and the lines go on for miles.........

Hijacking is just another form of bump, right?

We have annual passes and were there in in July and also in September. The heat can be rough, but if you just accept the fact that you're gonna sweat your B*LL$ off it's a lot easier to just deal with it.

I'm sure the crowds are going to be unreal the week before Christmas, but the temperature change will be nice. So far the first week in March has been my favorite time to go, but as the kiddies get older it gets harder and harder to take them out of school for a trip during the off-times.

Oh yeah, BUMP

I think all of the cabins are open. This is a slow time of year for her. Did you notice the Hot Tub in your cabin? We also have a firepit gazebo and a game room with pool table, air hockey, pinball, slot machines and a juke box.... Plenty for the non-wrenching spouses and offspring to do!

Its 70's and SUNNY here today. We are gonna eat some turkey at noon and take the 'yota over to Beasely **** OHV area (like 2mi away as the crow flies) to do a little rockcrawling. Most of the leaves are gone now and the views from the trails are AMAZING.
Off Road North America - Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests: Beasley **** OHV Trail System

Frank, you are only about 1 tank of WVO away. I can always fill ya up when you get here. Oh wait, you haven't done a conversion yet!!!
