Texas Independance Day
Tomorrow if you go to your local Courthouse or Texas Govt offices don't be surprised if they are closed. Friday February 28 is Texas Independence Day a Holiday for some people. I saw the notice posted today is why I know.

I didn't know that was a holiday here...hmm...I just thought it was my friend's birthday...wow. So what's everybody been up to? It's so darn quiet here....

Uhh...it's the 28th of Febuary? I always thought that it was the 2nd of March. I feel dumb now.

It is March 2nd, which fell on a Sunday, which is why the government offices celebrated it on Friday. Since it was also my birthday, I followed their lead and celebrated it all weekend
