Had the truck towed back in. So far i have Checked the following.....

Fuel Flow Before the filter housing and fuel flow After. I get a Healthy Spurting Stream when the motors turns over.

Check the Solenoid in the Injector Pump..getting power and it is clicking.

I dont think the truck has elec fuel pump...Just the Mechanical on the Engine block correct?

however i am getting No fuel from the injector lines so im taking the pump to a Shop that has a Flow bench to tell if it is shot and for a possible rebuild.

So am i missing anything?

Also what is the sensor in the Injector Pump Housing? 2 wire switch.

 

is the wire disconnected of the spade on the injection pump?

 

search the 7.3 idi forum if that dosesent turn up any answers post the same question there

 

sounds like to me you Injection pump lost prime and isnt holding pressure after you shut it off. I had the same problem with my 85 ford idi

 

losing prime would be a good suggestion too, do your injector return lines seap or leak at all? thats a big reason IP's lose prime as they do have an internal check valve.
