DJMedic of RCSparks.com is well known in the RC community for his impressive scale builds. Now, he’s felt it’s come time to build his Ford F150 into a full scale replica of his RC Trucks!

It’s usually the other way around: scale guy builds a replica of a “full scale” vehicle. This has become popular recently because companies like Traxxas and Axial offer inexpensive, ready-to-run, scale vehicles. The gateway to scale racing fun and easy.

Enthusiast DJMedic is going the opposite way with his FX4. He creates build and review videos for the website RCSparks.com. He wants to take his Ford F150 FX4 and make it look like “Project Large“, which is a Losi 5T. For those of you who don’t know, the Losi 5T is a 1/5th scale truck that uses a 26cc 2-stroke engine, features full time 4WD, is 38 inches long from bumper to bumper, and has a dry weight of about 37 pounds.

Check out the first part of his build below!
