This sharp 1973 Bronco belongs to John Coons (

73' Bronco owned by John Coones. Purchased in 87' rebuilt suspension, motor, transmission, transfer case in 89'. Got totaled in a highway accident in 91' This photo was taken after a 6 year long restoration. Highlights include frame and complete undercariage sandblasted and painted. 4" suspension lift, dual shocks at each corner 4.56 gears w/detroit locker in the 9", and tru-trac in the dana 44. Street tires are BF-Goodrich 35-12.5x15 on 15x8 Cragar Aluminum rims, off-road action gets the 33-14x15 Swamper Boggers on 15x10 steel wheels. The 302 engine has been bored 30 over, Eldebrock performer intake w/Eldebrock 4bbl carb, James Duff headers and turbo mufflers. Custom matching 2" square tube nerf bars, front and rear bumpers with a Warn 8000 # winch on the front with 2 KC lights. Interior sports a Smitty-Built 6 point cage, T- bird power seats, tack, altimeter, vacuum gage, a sun roof in the hard top, and a bikini top for sumer runs. Currently upgrading ignition to a breakerless Duraspark II system and considering upgrading engine accessories to the serpentine drive belt.
