This sharp 1972 F600 belongs to Trent McCain (bandit1hotmail.com)
In 1973 my father ordered an F600 similar to this one. His had factory gague package as well as A/C. He hauled bulk fuel with it. The truck was later sold. We were in need of a grain truck for our small farm. This 1972 pictured was purchased last month at an auction. The truck has 50,000mi. It has a 330ci engine, 4/2 transmission. The truck hadn't seen wax since new and was faded very bad. My speciality is detailing, and I couldn't leave this truck alone. I buffed and polished the cab for two days. It looks like new. I repainted the tool boxes and saddle tanks to match the cab. I also painted the wheels white. Few trucks came this way. (My fathers was one that did.) I couldn't resist tricking it out with a bug-shield, chrome weights with the blue oval on the mud-flaps, and pin-stripes on the cab. Inside we added a Cobra CB with dual Hustler antennas, new seat cover, aux throttle control, and an Autometer tach. We added dual exhuast to allow the engine to breathe better. I'm pleased with the outcome, the truck is very tight and rattle free. It was so original that the crayon markings from the factory were still on the rear window.
