It doesn’t take much to appreciate old school Ford trucks. Or it shouldn’t, anyway. After all, they are where the trucks of today began and are still, though arguably, some of the neatest rides around.

Ford put to rest any questions about the safety of aluminum when they National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) awarded the 2015 F-150 an overall 5 Star safety rating on the new truck.

While we’re already pretty confident about how you’ll be able to order the new 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 and GT350R, Ford sent out a colorful and updated order guide to dealerships.

In the realm of hot rods, I personally, am not a big fan of the outrageously over done and painted cars. They’re just too flashy for me, and I’d be nervous as hell with scratching the 16 layer paint job that inevitably most hot rod builders do.

Back when I used to be in a climate that had winter, there was nothing better than a big beefy 4WD truck to tackle the snow. Sure, it didn’t make me invincible, but it definitely helped in getting traction off the line.
