5 Aftermarket Tuner Ford Trucks You'll Feel Guilty For Not Owning
Sure, you've seen F-150s all over the place and you probably think you've seen everything but there are more options out there. As far as special vehicles go, these are top shelf magical monsters.
1. Saleen S331 Supercharged
For those who want a boosted F-150, then this model is the fodder for your performance truck dreams. This Saleen supercharged variation based on an extended cab body was first offered in 2007 with 450 horsepower through the 5.4-liter V8 exhaling through a side exhaust system. This model wasn't really a factory model but you can have the NA version of this in the wild known as just the S331 with the same 23-inch wheels and body modifications that the two models share.
2. VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged
This 2014 model gets the 600 number in the name from all the ponies running free under the hood of this whacked out Raptor snorting cocaine. Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear and now The Grand Tour got his hands on this very model and loved the boisterous nature of the vehicle. While he noted that it wasn't the right vehicle for him, he was very happy that this is available for those who do.
3. ROUSH F-150
Working with Ford's all-new aluminum body ROUSH has beefed up the stock F-150 to all new heights of performance. The mighty pickup from Ford is now outfitted with a 2.0 suspension system complete with coilovers, 20-inch wheels, and Mickey Thompson tires.
4. STILLEN F-150
STILLEN went ahead and grabbed an extended cab regular bed and went a little crazy by cleaning out the entirety of their mods for the exterior, performance, and brakes. After they exhausted the stock of their own inventory they went ahead and continued the mod fueled insanity by upgrading the suspension, wheels, and interior with goodies from other manufacturers in the name of building the ultimate truck.
5. Geiger F-150
German performance tuner loves this American icon so much that they bathed it in bright green, gave it a higher suspension, upgraded the wheels from 22-inches to 37-inches, and swapped out the OE supercharger for a 572 horsepower Whipple version. If all of this sounds awesome to you and you'd like to get your hands on one of these get ready to pay up to the tune of $137,000!
