Classic Ford Truck

We all love the tried and true aesthetics of this era of Ford trucks. And that familiar character is present here, but with a bit of a twist. While the body of this alluring two-tone 1978 Ford F-150 might not look much different from when it rolled off the factory line, the wheels are a dead giveaway that this is no ordinary F-150.

Tells a Story

The Dark Jade Metallic and white two-tone paint scheme is as cool as they come. And the bodywork of this Ford truck has been left untouched. Partly because it's in good enough condition. And partly because it tells the story of the truck's previous life. The F-150 was reportedly a one-owner prior to being turned into a restomod.

Just as Good on the Inside

And the original owner took great care of it, as is apparent from the condition of the exterior. More modifications can be found on the inside, though. The custom green and white bench seat mirror the exterior colors beautifully. And the rest of the interior is comprised of its original dark green colors, with a hint of chrome on the custom tilt steering wheel.

Creature Comforts

Creature comforts on the interior help keep the ride comfortable. It comes with A/C, a stereo with Bluetooth and USB, and an updated Dakota Digital gauge package. But that's not even the most important part of the restomod.

Custom Mill

This old F-150 also has a custom-built 347 V8 under the hood. The motor is from BluePrint Engines, and it features aluminum heads, Hedman headers, and it's topped with a Holley sniper electronic fuel injection system you control from the cab. The engine is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission to put the power down to the wheels.

Adjustable Stance

And let's not forget about the adjustable air ride suspension. In fact, the ride height can be adjusted via a remote controller, in case the new owner needs to impress passers-by at a show. The truck has been driven 540 miles since the rebuild was completed. This beauty was listed for $37,995 on Streetside Classics, and it has now found a new owner to enjoy it for years to come.
