47k original miles. Original paint, upholstery, drive train, etc. No dents in the bed. Everything is original from the factory with the exception of the dealer-installed A/C and the wheels. I replaced the original (rare!) 5 lug split rims with one piece wheels a few years ago (although I still have the original splits in good shape). I also repainted the rear bumper because it was looking pretty ratty. Otherwise, it's all pretty much untouched. 352 v8 and 4 speed.
The truck had an over-cab camper for 30 years and went coast-to-coast in its day. I re-installed the tailgate for the first time since '66 when I bought it. I had been in the original owner's attic all those years. Believe it or not, the truck lived outside, under a tree for 3 decades. When I got it the paint was pretty oxidized but after lots of polishing it shined right back up. People always assume it's been restored/repainted.
The F100 Camper Special seems to be quite uncommon. Most Camper Specials were F250s. They only offered it on the half tons from 1965-1967. I have never seen another one in person. If you have one, please contact me. I'd love to see it. Read more ยป
