6" Suspension lift, Tire size??
I am planning on getting a 6" suspension lift for my 2000 f250. i am trying to figure out if i should get 37" tires. will they fit. what would the max size be if i wanted to get tires for that 6" lift. i found this chart -

Depends on what you're doing with the truck. Hardcore wheeling is only going to fit a 35" in there without major rubbing. It may fit if your wheeling is limited. I'm running a 6.5" lift with 37x13.50 on 17's (Toyo M/T's) and have mild rubbing on full steering lock. I don't wheel like I used to but any rubbing I've ever had has been on the leaf springs.
By the way, I have a 6.5" pro comp lift on my '00 and it's garbage. I bought it like 5-6+ years ago though so I'm sure they've made significant improvements since then. At least I hope they would've.....

if i go with the 37's though im probally going to want an 8" lift though right?

It's a never ending cycle. With an 8" you can comfortably fit 38's.

i had their 8" lift picked out, but realized it would look way to jacked up if i was driving tht around all the time.

Nothing big. Its just not the best. There were a few holes that had to be elongated to allow the piece to bolt up like the track bar drop bracket. He ordered a 4" & got 6" front springs. I had to use some old u bolts I had & stack 2 blocks to get him going for the night, till they could send the correct stuff.
