Forget the Ranger,...I want an F-150!
This last Thursday I went and test drove a 2023 Ford F-150 STX Super cab 4x4! Unfortunately a 2023 is STILL too new for me to afford payment wise,...so I'm looking for nothing newer than a 2021 and nothing older than maybe 2019. The truck had the 2.7L EcoBoost V6,and that engine was not only quiet,but had some serious 'get up and go',...and I thought 'shoot,...who needs a V8 with that kind of power out of a little V6?' All this time,...at LEAST up until last Thursday,...I always thought that a 2.7L V6 would be too small of an engine for a full sized truck. Apparently it's not too small! The transmission was so smooth and shifted quietly I couldn't even feel it. I WAS impressed! So for me,...be patient(that's hard for me to do sometimes),....save some money for a down payment,...and a 2021 F-150 STX 4x4 Super Cab in Velocity Blue(my favorite color)will come along.
