Need help adding cruise control with forscan

I have a 2015 F350 dump truck, gas engine, XL trim. Has power windows but no cruise control. I installed a new steering wheel which has the exact same controls for the basic message center plus has the cruise control buttons. Then I used Forscan to change the as-built data in the SCCM 724-03-01 location. Mine was originally 0000-0006-35. I found a 2015 350 XL with a VIN for sale online that has cruise and copied those values: 0500-0006-3A. Using the dashboard test functions in Forscan I can see when I push the cruise buttons they are recognized. However, cruise still doesn’t work. Is there another module that needs updating to different values? Something in the BCM? Not sure where to go from here.

You have to enable it in the PCM also.

I don’t remember being able to access the PCM with forscan.

Follow up - you need to go into the BCM and set cruise control to “with” as it was set to without. That, combined with the as built changes I made to the SCCM, have allowed cruise to work normally.

He has a truck, he has to drive the truck, and he's so pissed off. He wants to trade it off
