Wheel options?

Any advice for wheel options? I'm looking at some American Racing Torq Thrust D - 15x7 or 15x8

Anyone running these? Opinions?

Thanks!!

I'm running Rocket Racing 17X8's with 4-1/2 inch backspacing 235/60's front and 255/60's on the rear. I used Rocket's wheels because they have the correct size hub center hole for a Ford truck, unlike a lot of wheels that have a huge center hole so they will fit a bunch of different vehicles. I do believe you could use a 10 inch wide rim with 4 1/2 inch backspacing on the rear if you are careful when choosing the width of the tire. If you go with any large amount of stagger your choices of tires with the same side wall markings and tread pattern get pretty limited.

Any pics of your wheels? Which Rocket Racing model are you running?

I looked at their website and didn't see many offered in 5x5.5

Those look great. Can't run 15x8 all the way around I'm guessing?

I think if you went 8 in the front your turning would be hindered. With the 6's I had to thread my steering stops out a little as on a sharp turn the tire woud rub the drag link

Wheels

Running 8 inch wide rims in the front isn't a problem as long as you don't get too large of a diameter tire. The only place the tire could possibly hit is the radius arm or in my case the sway bar. I could have went with a slightly larger tire in the front but I didn't want them to be out passed the fender lip. The rears would have been a better fit with 3 1/2 inch backspacing but they weren't available in 17 inch wheels.

I run 17x8 Front and 17x9 rear. No rubbing issues at all.

Front: 235/65 R17 (17x8) (0 off set and 4.5" back space)
Rear: 265/65 R17 (17x9) ( -24mm offset and 4" back space)

31-10.50X15s on ten inch wide rims fit nicely under a Uni bed.

American Racing VN309 17 x 8 (zero offset so should be about 4 1/2" backspacing) all four corners with 235/60 R17 Coopers. Obviously, the truck has a ways to go to be road ready to fully test for rubbing issues, but looked OK turning stop to stop.
