Height of 2017+trucks
I know this has been talked about before but I can't seem to find the thread. What is the height of F-250 4wd with the snow plow/camper package and the stock 18" wheel package? Also, how much difference in height would not having the snow plow package be? I'm just trying to figure out if one of the newer super duties would fit in my garage.

I stopped by my local dealer and asked to take one home to see if it fit in the garage first. Copied my license and tossed me the keys. Might be worth asking just to make sure. Worst they can say is no, and you'll probably get follow up sales calls, but it's worth knowing if it fits.

While killing time at my dealership last week, we took a walk thru the new truck lot. They had a row of new F250's...several gassers and 4 or 5 diesels. This dealership orders the plow and camper package on just about every truck they stock. The hood on the F250 on the end of the line appeared to be noticeably lower then the rest of the row. I pulled my tape and measured from the tow hooks to the pavement. They were 1.5" lower than then other trucks in the row. it was basically an identical unit to the truck next to it...both 2019s, 6.7L, CCSB, snow plow and camper prep, 18" wheels with Wrangler AT tires. No dips in the pavement where the tires were sitting...
So much for printed specs.

Thanks for the info. I read the linked thread and it looks like I'll be really close. If memory serves me correct the header on the door is 83". I'll have to hit a lot up this weekend and measure a truck. I know my 2013 has about three inches to spare.
I guess if the new body style won't fit I'll just have to keep my old one or go back to a half ton because I'm not going to do a major rework it the garage door just to get a new truck to fit.

when measuring, just remember the highest point is the rear of the cab.

I felt the same way, I was not going to let my new truck sit outside when I had an empty garage spot. My garage door header is 84", There was a piece of trim that I could have removed to get an add'l 3/4" of clearance. Up limiter adjustment on the door opener gave me a full 84"...but I could have re positioned the opener door bracket for more clearance. My driveway also had a 9 (down) degree slope. It was close, but it fit. Go borrow a truck and do a test fit.
