New to group and would like advice
Hello,
I have had a 2000 Ford F250 for a while now, but never joined a forum, (guess I should have joined a while ago).
Anyway, I just bought a new F250 and looking to sell my old one. But I have been told I need to ask a lot due to the rarity of it.
I am not looking to ask a fortune, but would like to know a reasonable price I should ask.
It's a 2000 F250 7.3 Diesel with 6 speed manual trans. 2WD. Its is an XL work truck, not much to it, but the AC still works awesome.
It just hit 200,000 miles but still runs strong. I just replaced the glow plugs, fuel filter, fuel heater, brand new heavy duty KYB Monotube shocks.
It has the wicked wheel turbo from later years on it. Doesn't leak a drop of oil and exhaust comes out clear.
Was thinking of asking around $7,000 for it. Just wondering your guy's expert opinion.
Thanks
RED

It is an extend cab. There are a few dents in the bed area but no rust at. Funny thing is when I first got the truck, had a mechanic tell me this was a $10,000 truck. He wanted to buy it. I just bought it and didn't really want to sell it. For the next 6 months, I had about 7 different people who really wanted my truck because they wanted the manual transmission paired with the diesel engine. A few mentioned that this truck is hard to find. But again, at the time, I didn't want to sell it. I enjoyed my truck very much. I did buy a new truck mainly for extra room for my boy in the back seat.
Crazy thing is, now that I am looking to sell it, crickets. Murphy's law at its best.
One guy told me there is a cult following for the 7.3 diesel. But after looking on the web, I don't see it.
Thanks for the replies. If I don't sell it, I won't be that heart broken, I still enjoy driving it.
