Anyone ever seen a bumper like this?

Came off a 1974 4x4 (just sold on BAT for 20k). It had a camper shell that was sold prior to me buying the rear bumper and front winch bumper.

It is step type. Looks professional made but no decal or markings. Front bumper has hickey tag and side winder winch.

Bought to mount on my 74 Quadravan but plans changed so will be up for sale.

A previous owner put a homemade one similar to that on my 76 F250. Not as nice looking though.

Am I reading this right " (just sold on BAT for 20k) " ? Someone really payed 20k for that truck ?

I have seen a couple of those rear bumpers when I was stationed in Oak Harbor, WA. Might be some west coast company.

I've seen them similar or identicle rear bumpers some time past, once considered making mine like them when I was building mine, but I didn't.

HE Hickey out of Venture or Garden Grove California...I found lots of pics of what they made for older chebby's. I have seen a home made version like the rear one, I even owned one that the square rear bumper was an air tank, but not a storage box. Cool idea for the rear one, would go good with this front idea for storage.

What's up with the paint? Is that over spray around the 2 tone edges factory? It looks original.

No, someone along the way did that. It's certainly had a lot of paint work done over the years. The hood doesn't even match on that 20k truck.

I was going to make the warn copy for my front bumper, but I dig the storage! Might just have to incorporate that.
