63 Flareside... has anyone widened the wheel wells??
I am thinking my 2015 Mustang IRS is going to be about 1.5" too long on each side so I can't tuck it up under the wheel well (yes 1st world problems, I know). Has anyone ever taken the flares and widened them? Or maybe install a thick piece of continuous metal to act as a "spacer" between the bed box and the flare fender? I am no master fabricator, so I would take them to a professional to do it. Your thoughts?

I knew I'd seen something before and it took a little digging but it was "surfcanada" who widened his FRONT fenders using an interesting method. Check out the thread but starting on post #6 is where he shows the fenders. Might give an idea.

Those 3"wider fiberglass fenders look like they will work perfect. Is the '56 fender the same as the '63 fender? It looks like it is.
