Or since you live in Tx now might be a good time to do the delete yourself. If you want to keep the EBPV and can't find a free one then you could get something like this and just ask the seller to send you a close up pic of the connector. Swap it out with yours.
I would send you my old one but did just like you and dropped the turbo on the connector. Didn't worry about though cause I had the delete pedestal sitting on the bench waiting to go in.

Ouch- that's a stiff price for a little valve! But it sounds like I have a few options:
1) Delete the EBPV but I have no idea if that's a good thing or not? What are the benefits and cons for the EBPV delete? Do I need more parts or just not connect it?
2) Looks like I just broke off the just the plastic part and the pins that actually slide in the connector are still good. I might just push the connector on and wire-tie it in place.
3) Spend 300 bucks... but I don't think this isn't really an option with the other two available.

Like Mark said primary purpose is to help engine warm faster on cold mornings. Some use it as an engine brake when towing by modding the truck or getting a tow tune that does it.
I live in the south like you and only have to deal with so many cold mornings. I wanted to remove obstructions from the exhaust of the turbo for better flow as well as eliminate one of the oil leak possibilities in the valley. There are a few cold mornings that I wish I still had it but that passes in about 10 minutes once the engine warms up
There are write ups on how to remove the valve from the outlet and plug the holes as well as how to gut the pedestal and plug the holes. Another option is to buy a pedestal and turbo outlet that delete them for you.
Here are some links for doing your own or buying.

that’s the direction I’m headed right now. I haven’t viewed the ebpv delete topics above yet but I’m assuming either way will be fine for a truck with 330k.

Manual was the wrong choice of words. Non canister solenoid controlled. The spring in conjuction with boost gauge is set to open at a certain osi. The factory setup has a tendancy to be sloppy and open too early
