how much under sticker or invoice have you paid for an ordered truck
Went to a dealer today and started to negotiate a price for a f250 supercab lariat I want to order. The salesman came back and said the GM wouldn’t sell for under invoice. How have some of you done? Thanks.
$800 under invoice, plus $2500 rebates, plus window tint and Line-X (approx $900 value). In the Phoenix area, I built my spec sheet and sent it to about 10-12 fleet managers in the region. I’ve never dealt with the retail sales folks.
Another option is Costco auto sales. You can get pretty good prices for very little stress and haggling.
I did invoice minus 850 minus 4000 in rebates and cash offers on my 19.
how did you get 4000 in rebates? I got invoice +rebates (there was only 500 dollars when i order the truck) at delivery but havent seen no 4000 rebates thats like what happens in march almost a month away?
Had a hard time finding a dealer that would come off of msrp. Finally did and one better i got invoice. I know they need to make money and i know i want a fair deal so invoice+rebates on a special order seems fair to me. Now it is just waiting on the truck to come hopefully in march.
First one I went to wouldn’t budge from $500 over invoice. Second one offered $1k under invoice without a word from me so I ordered it on the spot. Ended up with an additional $1k rebate at time of delivery.
Check out First Ford. They seem to have good inventory and good pricing
That’s where I was today. I’m probably going to go to Herb Chambers next since they also have a dodge dealer which is what I’m trading in. If they own the same store of the product you want to trade it seems they will offer more on that trade in.
Split the holdback with a dealer in Texas and ended up getting out the door (TT&L included) for around invoice with no down payment. In fact, after he saw my build, the dealer said he was going to order the truck whether I purchased or not.

I think I was $1500 behind invoice plus lots of rebates. I test drove their truck on the lot, then put them on ice for a few weeks. They called me and I told them I decided to order one. They said, "we can order it for you". Told them I already reached an agreement with another dealer and I'm heading in tomorrow as I got the impression you weren't interested in selling me a special order truck" They responded with a better deal than I had at other stores. So, I ordered it from them.
That's what I've found works best. Dealer's get chewed out by their reps for pump ins. So, dealers do everything they can to avoid it.
