Welcome to the world of the bigger model trucks. The 51/52 F-3 Bendix type front drum is 1D 1125-B, and the rear is TBAA 1126-A. Years ago I got new rear drums for my ‘52 F-3 from Chuck Mantiglia of Chuck’s Trucks in CT. As I recall him saying, a later drum is being reproduced that he modified slightly to work on my rear. My MH front drums are different than yours. I would suggest calling or emailing Chuck about your fronts and rears. He will have them, or know of a source. Stu

If you aren't married to the idea of original you could change out the rear axle for a pre-73 F-250 rear axle. You'll have easier to find parts and could also find an axle with better gearing. Change the front out to disc using this kit

While we’re talking about accessing brakes, please be very careful with the F-3 17” wheels. All F-3s were fitted with 17s having two piece outer rims today called “widow makers”. The trade name of the rim is “Firestone RH-5°”. Below is a picture of the rear. The raised band that the center disc is riveted too is the joint. Rather than me rattle on, please do some Google time reading about them. There are several remedies when you are ready hear them. Stu

Absolutely. But they won't fit under 15" wheels. I happen to have my original 16" wheels, so this was important that they work. If you call them prior to ordering, the owner will walk you through the process, great to work with, I highly recommend. If you call, you can mention tony from tennessee.
