4 calipers on one year
Long story short got my 4th “lifetime warranty” caliper from auto crap for the drivers side and 3rd on passenger said in less than a year. I put one one 3 days ago and had to replace it today. The front calipers are holding up well. They keep leaking at the seals has anyone else had repeat issues with this part? Plenty of fun when you look in the mirror to plenty of smoke coming from the wheel. The master plan is get these new calipers ones off in good time and upgrade when I replace all the brake lines with motor craft.

There are a few bubbles on the hose I saw when replacing the caliper. Indicating significancant wear. The truck hasn’t been driving fine howeve i am taking it easy on the brakes. That should keep the chances of the hose collapsing if it is. With no time to wait and an upcoming trip I’m heading to the dealer tomorrow usually stick w oem for the fit and finish. There’s a few spy’s still on my truck from China the commies the on board will get taken out in good time !!!! lol

Just called the dealer of course it’s the soft hose and hard line sold a small one unit good is more parts replaces the bad more money and the metal line at the T is less acesssable and more work. Really trying to avoid any air in the system as the front passenger side caliper is original as far as I know and the bleeder screw will not budge.

Theres obviously something wrong with your braking system, not the calippers. Replace all soft lines, change all brake fluid making sure its DOT3, and if your equipped with ABS make sure you have someone with the softwear to bleed the ABS unit correctly, gravity bleeding will not work if there's air trapped in the ABS valves, trust me I know.

They do as one of the failures was cause by the truck sitting and slide pins locking up the rotor became red hot.
In in this instance the hose clearly is worn. Given my upcoming trip the plan is to replace this hose test drive it and roll out sooner than later. Thankfully when it comes to more capable scanners I have a couple friends in the rigs “pit crew” to help with that. The full plan is to replace all the lines then it’s done and off the list.

Yeah I’ve read plenty of rebuilt caliper stories here and of course last week mine locked up and took the rotor out in short order. When I pulled the caliper out I saw it was original - checked the others and they were original too, not bad for 20 years and 200k+. Not real excited to see how my aftermarket rebuilt holds up after the stories here.

We used to have decent luck with Advanced Auto's rebuilds a few years ago. Its only really been the ones we got the past year or so that they really gave us trouble.
