F-1 Gas Tank Relocation

F-1 Gas Tank Relocation
I tried the search, but didn't find my answer...
My brother is helping his FIL with an F1 project they just picked up. They want to get the fuel tank out of the cab, so next common thought is under the bed behind the axle. But the truck will be very used as a truck and they don't want a filler in the bed floor. I'm not sure yet whether they plan on EFI or carbed - that will obviously play in too.
What have you guys done? What tank did you use? How did you route your fill tube? Does it fill slowly? What would you do better?
Thanks FTE!
