F-250 5.8L vacuum question

What is this and where can I get one. I repaired it with heat shrink but i keep getting a intermittent check engine light and the engine idles high.

I don't have the 5.0 but under your hood should be a complete diagram of your vacuum system. You can trace it to the point of origin visually also.

Not sure exactly what you're referring to, but that's a mess. Buy vacuum hose to replace the power booster line to the manifold. You'll need some hardened hose to correct the PCV line, is it even hooked up? That will eliminate the t's that are on there and will ensure their arent any leaks. Then I would replace all the smaller red vacuum lines with silicone. Also, is that the ground cable hooked up to the throttle cable bracket?

Good eye. That sure looks like a ground cable strap to me.
