i am currently measuring and trying to find info but i am not having any luck so i was wondering if anybody could help me will a 71 body fit on a 96 f250 frame i am doing a 7.3 swap but need a tougher front end and possibly 4x4 does anyone have info

 

With time, money, equipment and tools, you can put any body on a frame. Look at the unibody cars put on 4wd frames. Big Question: Can you weld, and CAN you fabricate stuff? Meaning, can you take a flat piece of steel, and turn it into a finished part? A lot of parts will have to be fabricated to make it fit.

 

i can't but my buddy can weld and fabricate and he is good but do you know of the i beams will fit under a 71 if the 96 is 2wd?

 

You might be able to ask someone on the 1987 - 96 F150 and larger Forum for the specs of the 96 frame. Then maybe somebody on here could either post or match up the 71 specs.
