04 4x4 home aligment
I have to install new tie rods on my 04, both boots are shot and the non fitting replacement boots are leaking all my grease out. I want to align the truck like I use to on my old mud trucks. Two buckets with a string ran between them. Set string so it's even with the back wheel, usually 2" away then adjust the passenger front tire first then the drivers front. Problem is I dont know how much toe-in a 2004 f350 4x4 needs? 1/4" total so 1/8" per side or is it more or less?

Nevermind I found it finally, toe is 0* with +/-.25
guess I go set it to 0* or maybe 1/16" toe in for some straight line driving

I try to set all straight axle vehicles at about 1/8"- 3/16" toe in, no more than 1/4".
