Can any one read this and tell me what axle this is?

It is rough but it looks to me like
9.75" ring gear
3.55LS
made 5FEB2001

 

Thanks, Got to do axle seal and while I am at it I'll do the bearings.
Any words of encouragement?

 

Don't smell what pours out of it.

 

Had to replace one axle. Looking where the bearing ran there are pit marks. I guessing the it got hot and welded little spot to the bearings... I ran towels down the tubes to clean. The oil looked great and the smell wasn't bad.
