50K + 6.2 report 2013 F350 DRW

We are done traveling for the winter so I looked t the truck stats, we are sitting in South Texas.
Mileage. 53941.8
Towing miles 35138.5
Engine hours 1427
Idle hours. 138
Replaced battery
Changed transmission fluid and filter
Packed front wheel bearings (it's a 2WD)
Replaced brake pads front and rear
Changed oil every 5K
Replaced all 6 tires
Friction modifier for the rear end
Air filter every 10K

This truck gets used hard so I'm happy with what I've spent so far, wasn't to happy with the brakes but I had a lot of trouble with my drum trailer brakes before I went to disk so I'm sure that had a lot to do with it, 16K trailers don't stop all that easy without good trailer brakes.

Out of curiosity, why did you add friction modifier?

The limited slip rear end started to chatter, it's common on Dana DRW rear ends after a few years.

MPG is 8 to 9 pulling. I gross 24.4K and empty the little handle I have on it would be 13 to 14 sometimes lower depending on the area we staying in. I have my oil changed at Ford dealers every 5K and it uses no oil between changes no matter how hard I work it. I just checked it after 3K on my last change and it's still on the fuel mark.

One thing left out I did to my truck was change the shocks last winter to Monroe Gas Magnums after one of my rears started leaking.

It's always been done at Ford so it's 5/20, when you are in the road it's just easyer to have it done plus I have a extended warranty so there will be no question that it was done and what was used.

The extended warranty was because of all the electronics and gagets that are on the truck not the 6.2 or any other part of the drivetrain. Campgrounds don't like you changing oil and the used oil is PITA to get rid of so for $50 I let someone else do it. Yes the oil still looks clean when it's changed.
