F-450 Death Wobble?
Curious if the F-450 wide track front end suffers from the same death wobble issues as the F-250/350 ? Haven't seen anyone speak of this.

9k on my 450. No wobble. I have had a little rear axle hop on railroad crossings or consecutive bumps, but every HD truck that I have owned has hopped.

3 of the 192 responses to the DW poll are F450. One is a '17 and I will try and determine what year the other two are through the poll info.

Does this mean three had the issue, or three just gave their answer? I answered the poll for my F450 without any DW.

I answered the poll and mine is the 17. No 'death wobble' here. 20+K on the odometer.

I can let go of my wheel at highway speeds when crossing a rough diagonal expansion joint with no bump steer, shake or wobble. 22k on mine.

No wobble.
But then neither did any of my F350's or F250.

I'm sure it has to do with sheer numbers. I can only imagine that there are much more F250/F350's out there. I believe it's the same front axle other than larger brakes and 10 lug.

No Wobble 2017 F450. 42,000 miles. In fact, zero problems.

Different axle. The F450 front is about 6" wider.

Based on two post here who have reported no DW we have only one F450 a '17 that has reported DW.

Have had an '09, a '10 and now a '17--neither has had the wobble. 200k+ miles on '09/100k + on '10 and now 45k on '17. No problems with the front end, period.

No wobble here. 20K+ miles, towing 5th wheel and on California freeway.

66,000 miles on 2017 F450 and 2nd set of tires now and never any DW. Can't say enough good things about this truck.
